VO2 active and resting tests provide invaluable specific insights into your cardiovascular fitness and longevity – and we can help you use those numbers by creating a training program specific for your goals whether you’re just starting out, a long-term fitness enthusiast or a competitive athlete.

Getting Started

Step 1: Schedule Screening

VO2 Max Testing and Resting Metabolic Rate takes one hour in direction. Click here to reach out to our coaches to schedule. The cost of the screening is 229.00.

Step 2: Prepare For Your Screening

Do not eat, drink, smoke, or drink coffee or alcohol 5 hours prior to your screening. Do not participate in high intensity training within a 12 hour beforehand. Arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your screening, sitting in a relaxed position focus on normal breathing patterns.

Step 3: RMT

Your screening will begin with the Resting Metabolic Test identify your calorie burn rate. This test is performed in a sitting slightly leaned back postition.

Step 4: VO2 MAX Testing

There are 3 VO2 testing parameters utilized dependent on the individual and current fitness state. They are graded (incremently intensity increases), intervals (suiteed for high intensity sport participants), 5-1-5 (utilized at sub-threshold performance / lower intensity). We will utilize either a bike, treadmill, or row machine.

What Is VO2 Max?

VO2 Max is the maximal amount of oxygen uptake an individual can utlize while exercising. The more available oxygen the more energy your body can utilize. A higher VO2 Max indicates your current level of fitness, and is considered a powerful indicator on your longevity.
