THE DPR VITALITY METHOD

Prepare Better. Perform With Purpose. Recover Intentionally.

Your workout is never just a workout. How you move, fuel, sleep, manage stress, recover, supplement and connect determines how well you perform and progress.

DPR brings all six Vitality pillars together through one simple daily process: Prepare. Perform. Recover.

Your Results Are Built Before, During and After the Workout

Most people treat exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress management and recovery as separate activities. Your body does not.

How you slept affects your readiness. How you fuel and hydrate affects your energy. Your stress state affects focus, movement and decision-making — and your recovery choices affect how prepared you are for the next challenge.

That is why DPR does not coach the six pillars in isolation. We integrate them into one process that helps you make better decisions and build sustainable progress.

The six pillars are distinct, but they are never disconnected.

Prepare. Perform. Recover.

One connected daily process — not three separate programs.

01

Prepare

Recognize what you need today.

Preparation begins with awareness of your current readiness, energy, movement, sleep, stress, hydration and recovery. It's not merely a warm-up — it's creating physical, mental and physiological readiness.

  • Complete the Daily Observation
  • Review sleep, stress, soreness and energy
  • Hydrate and fuel appropriately
  • Use breathing or resilience practices
  • Complete mobility or activation work
  • Adjust the session when readiness requires it
What do I need in order to succeed today?
02

Perform

Apply the right challenge with purpose.

Performance is personal — not defined only by competition or maximum intensity. It means applying an appropriate challenge that supports the outcome you're working toward, with intention and quality.

  • Strength or power training
  • Mobility and movement development
  • Metabolic or cardiovascular conditioning
  • Sport preparation or skill practice
  • Everyday physical capacity
  • Completing the action in your DPR plan
What adaptation or outcome am I pursuing today?
03

Recover

Turn effort into adaptation.

The workout provides a stimulus. Recovery determines what you gain from it — the actions that restore capacity, support adaptation and prepare you for the next physical or life demand.

  • Post-training nutrition and protein
  • Rehydration
  • Recovery mobility or easy movement
  • Breathwork or downregulation
  • Protecting your sleep routine
  • Reflection and coach feedback
What will help me adapt and be ready for what comes next?

Prepare for what you need today. Perform with purpose. Recover for what comes next.

Six Pillars. One Integrated System.

Each pillar plays a role in how you prepare, perform and recover — not as six separate programs, but as one connected system. Movement gives you a tangible place to apply what you're learning and see it show up in how you train and feel.

Move

Prepare the body, apply the appropriate challenge and restore movement afterward.

Fuel

Supply hydration and energy before, during and after effort.

Sleep

Influences readiness today and restoration for tomorrow.

Resilience

Regulates focus, response to challenge and recovery from stress.

Enhancers

Support preparation, performance or recovery when appropriate.

Community

Creates coaching, accountability, encouragement and follow-through.

A note on Enhancers: Enhancers support the foundations. They do not replace movement, fuel, sleep, resilience or community.
Movement is the anchor. Progress is the outcome.

The six pillars influence the quality of the experience and the result.

Prepare Starts Here

Begin With What Your Body Is Telling You Today

Your needs are dynamic. Your plan should respond. The DPR Daily Observation is a simple nine-question check-in that helps you recognize how Move, Fuel, Sleep, Resilience, Enhancers and Community are interacting today. It isn't a test that tells you whether you're allowed to train — it gives you information that helps you prepare and perform more intelligently.

Observe

Recognize your current physical, mental and emotional state.

Respond

Adjust preparation, training or recovery when needed.

Progress

Learn which behaviors help you feel and perform better over time.

What This Can Look Like in One Day

Prepare

You review your sleep, soreness, energy and stress through the Daily Observation. Hydration and focus are lower than normal, so you drink electrolytes, do a brief breathing reset and spend extra time on mobility.

Perform

You complete the assigned strength session. The purpose stays the same, but volume, intensity or exercise selection is adjusted based on your readiness.

Recover

You rehydrate, eat a protein-rich meal, complete a brief downregulation practice and protect your sleep routine.

No pillar operated alone. Each action contributed to the quality of the workout and your capacity to progress.

Choose Your Next Step

You do not need to begin at the same place as everyone else. Choose the option that best reflects where you are today.
