Traditional training focuses predominately on the physiological aspects of rehydration, nutrition, and rest. Functional training focuses on and integrated functional process of three dimensional restoration, recovery, and rest on the biomechanical, physiological, and psychological systems that is activity specific. Functional strategies lock in the benefits of training, releases the effects of accumulated stress, facilitates restfulness, and enhances future readiness.
